Job summary

Barrel House is seeking a Kitchen Staff member to support food preparation and plating, ensuring quality and presentation to guests. You will follow prep lists, maintain stations, and operate kitchen equipment while adhering to sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include ingredient prep, line support, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and commute to the on-site location in Marion, IA.

Qualifications

• Must be able to reliably commute to on-site location.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be over the age of 18 years old.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for menu items in a neat, accurate, and timely way.
• Follow prep list and prep items accordingly and within allotted time frame.
• Follow the prep recipes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Execute each dish to the highest standards with proper portioning.
• Maintain and restock work areas; uphold health and sanitation standards.
• Safely operate all equipment and clean dishes as needed.
• Practice safe food handling and rotate stock; work as a team.
