Avocado Green Brands on-site in Fullerton seeks a Prep-Finisher to join the Carpentry team and report to the Carpentry Manager. You will shape, finish, and restore our wood products.

You will inspect wood, repair damage, sand, and apply finishes like varnish, stain, or shellac to achieve the desired look. The role involves updating equipment and maintaining safety standards.

THE ROLE

Avocado is currently looking for a Prep-Finisher to be part of the Carpentry team. This role will report to the Carpentry Manager.

The Carpentry Prep-Finisher will shape, finish, and restore our products. As a wood finisher, you will be required to examine the product, identify damaged areas, disassemble the basic parts, and smooth or shape the wood. You will also be required to apply finishing lubricants to achieve the desired color and design. This candidate will be part of a dynamic fast-growing team responsible for creating our eco-friendly organic mattress wood frames and furniture pieces!

• Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. You will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.
• Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is $17.00 - $18.25 hourly.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON...

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to wear personal protective gear like safety glasses.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with machinery noise.
• Stationary position:
  • Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time.
• Movements:
  • Must be able to move throughout the warehouse to access different machines.
  • Must be able to frequently move material weighing up to 50 pounds.
