Job summary

Avocado Green Brands is seeking a Laminate Assembler to join the Laminate team. You will work on-site at one of our Fullerton locations, assembling mattress components and preparing them for the Laminate machine.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy objects, and strict adherence to Cal OSHA safety rules. You will contribute to a safe, collaborative environment and support related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects for a full shift.
• Walking and standing for prolonged periods.
• Follow safety culture and Cal OSHA regulations.
• Report incident injuries and hazards to managers.
• Identify work hazard situations.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles building components of mattress in preparation for it to go under Laminate machine.
• Glued pieces of foam together through a quarry furniture machine.
• Transports loaves of foam to and from machines, using dolly, and positions loaves of foam on table.
• Examines sliced foam to verify product size and conformance to product specifications, using tape measure.
• Promotes a safe work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Avocado is currently looking for a Laminate Assembler to be part of the Laminate team.

*Note on Location: Here at Avocado Green Brands, we treasure teamwork and working together in person. Depending on the role, you will be working on-site at one of our Fullerton locations.

*Note on Pay Transparency: The pay range for this role is $17.00 - $19.63 Hourly.

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

• Assembles building components of mattress in preparation for it to go under Laminate machine
