Job summary

Blount Fine Foods, a family-owned manufacturer of premium prepared foods in Fall River, MA, seeks a Prep Department Supervisor for the first shift. You will oversee training, staffing and real-time inventory to ensure efficient production and cost control.

You’ll drive adherence to safety, QA, and HACCP policies while coordinating with production and logistics. A AA or higher, plus several years of supervisory and manufacturing experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years supervisory experience required.
• 3 years production/manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Prep Department staff.
• Manage staffing levels within the department.
• Oversee real-time inventory and processing of raw ingredients.
• Ensure accurate work orders and timely data entry.
• Maintain safety, QA, allergen awareness and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor costs per pound and departmental standards.
