Job summary

Sifted in Bellevue is building a dynamic corporate catering space and seeks a motivated Prep Cook / Server to help launch this Spring. This dual role covers one or multiple stations daily, reporting to the Lead Host or Lead Line Cook, with flexibility to adapt as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume service environment, a passion for great food and hospitality, and the ability to interact with guests while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in full-service, high-volume restaurant, club or catering establishment.
• Able to work at one or multiple stations and assist with prep, service, and cleanup.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and identifying allergies.
• Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
• WA State Food Handlers Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Work on one or multiple stations daily, following directions from Lead Host or Lead Line Cook.
• Labeling and organization of pans and delis, and discard of out-of-date product from storage areas.
• Maintain strict quality control and sanitation, act as Safety Champion in the BLV kitchen.
• Assist with daily deep-clean tasks, comply with sanitary regulations and safety standards.
• Assist Executive Chef with production discussions, packout, and cleanup; help develop and augment systems.
