Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Prep Cook/Cook at our Richardson, TX community. You will prepare food items using standardized recipes, coordinate with serving hours, and help ensure safe, high-quality meals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related kitchen experience, and culinary training or a food service sanitation certificate. We offer full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 1 year of related kitchen experience including food preparation and full-line menu items.
• Culinary apprenticeship or formal training is preferred.
• Food Services Sanitation Certificate is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner.
• Determines food and supplies needed and coordinates meal production with serving hours.
• Monitors quality, temperature, and taste to meet minimum guidelines.
• Ensures proper preparation, portioning, and serving as indicated on menus and recipes.
• Maintains cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards; adheres to safety procedures.
• Oversees food storage, checks labels and dates, and completes cleaning duties.
• Follows local, state, and federal policies on food handling.
• Keeps food safety temperature records and related documentation.
