Job summary

Creative Dining Services located on the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA is looking to hire a FT Prep Cook for the Salad Dept. Working hours 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Monday - Friday with weekend rotation. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 year food service experience, and ServSafe Certification. Responsibilities

• Prepares food such that all food is ready for use within the established timeframe.
• Prepares food items in a manner in which preserves food freshness, quality and appeal.
• Utilizes safe food handling techniques at all times.
• Stores food items according to established standards of practice; utilizes proper labeling and dating.
• Maintains production records and temperature logs
• Maintains a safe, tidy and well organized work environment at all times.
