Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort in Dumfries, Virginia is seeking a Prep Cook to support the food and beverage department by preparing food prior to cooking, cutting vegetables, and assisting with buffet line rotation and deliveries. This role communicates with colleagues and ensures proper storage of items.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic culinary knowledge and the ability to follow directions
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Attend required training sessions offered by the Company
• Obtain and retain required license(s)
• Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations
• Ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcohol, or purchase tobacco
• Have knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gaming
• Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge
