Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean and orderly.
• Ensure ingredients are in stock for the Chef to complete the menu.
• Wash cutlery and dishes.
• Parboil foods, allowing the Chef to prepare the menu more efficiently.
• Season and prepare the necessary ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare some dishes such as salads or other less complex menu items.
• Set out all the Chef’s ingredients before each shift and refill as necessary.
