Qualifications

• Basic culinary knowledge and the ability to follow directions.
• Able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Virginia Racing Commission License required.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least three years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean and orderly.
• Ensure ingredients are stocked for the Chef to prepare menu.
• Wash cutlery and dishes.
• Parboil foods to help the Chef work efficiently.
• Season and prepare ingredients for cooking.
• Prepare dishes such as salads or other simpler menu items.
• Set out and replenish the Chef’s ingredients during shifts.
