You will maintain a clean walk-in, track waste, and communicate waste concerns to managers to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a prep cook preferred.

• Teachable and eager to learn.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willing to attain).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food prep areas to ensure sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness through proper rotation and labeling in the walk-in.
• Taste, taste, taste. Ensure all prep is cooked and seasoned correctly.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
• Communicate with the incoming shift on what prep items need to be completed/prioritized.
