Chelsea Hospitality Group is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook for The Morris Proper in Morristown. You will support the kitchen by prepping produce, meats, and sauces, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. The role requires morning availability and a willingness to work a 5-day schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or food preparation is preferred, but training is provided.
• Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques.

• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must have morning availability and be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, and prep produce, meats, and seafood per recipes.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and sanitized per safety standards.
• Assist chefs with basic cooking tasks during peak service hours.
• Store and label ingredients to maintain freshness and reduce waste.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to kitchen manager.
