Job summary

Delaware North's Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista, FL, is seeking prep cooks to prepare food items for guests in a fast-paced environment. Both full-time and part-time roles are available with pay ranging from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include measuring, portioning, and preparing items to quality standards, communicating with the Chef, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to safety and ServSafe guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Two years of experience in back-of-house food preparation operations.
• Experience with Asian products and cuisine preferred.

What will you do?

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
• Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Ability to frequently immerse hands in water
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
