This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+, about 1 year culinary/hospitality preferred, plus a food handler card and alcohol service certification. Expect varied shifts, including nights and weekends, in a casual, team-focused setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Generally, 1 year of culinary/hospitality experience preferred.
Must have current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law.
Must be comfortable talking directly to the guest about food and beverage offerings, and preparation.

Responsibilities

Create a relaxed destination by embracing and sharing Tommy Bahama culture and knowledge of product offerings.
Set the course by participating in location meetings and training; assist other team members on food services and preparation.
Build the perfect oasis by mastering all menus/recipes, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation; follow safety/sanitation programs.
Be receptive to feedback and coaching.
Other duties as required to support the business.
