Job summary

CC Holdings is hiring prep cooks for the IGC Cafe inside the Indiana Government Center. The role involves supporting cafeteria stations, assembling produce, cooking, and labeling items for front- and back-of-house service.

Starting pay is up to $16.00 per hour with weekly pay, paid training, employee discounts, referrals, vacations, and health coverage options. Shifts are Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm; weekends/holidays are closed.

Qualifications

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards.
• Sets up station according to cafe guidelines.
• Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications.
• Restocks items as needed throughout shift.
• Maintains station with safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains knowledge to properly use and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Ensures quality and safety of food through standard sanitation measures.
• Communicates effectively.
• Remains flexible and able to work in a diverse environment.
• Attention to detail and strong time management.
• Willingness to assist in other tasks.
• Past high-volume kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Full-time & Part-time prep cook positions are now being filled at our IGC Cafe located in the Indiana Government Center. Shifts available Monday - Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm (shifts vary).

The prep cook is responsible for providing support to cafeteria stations and grab n go for preparation of meals and ingredients. Assembling produce, cooking/heating of product, chopping, dicing, packing and labeling of produces both front of house & back of house. The prep cook is responsible for quality control, food safety and sanitation. Starting rate up to $16.00 an hour! Requirements

• Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
