Job summary

CC Holdings, Inc. is hiring a prep cook for the IGC Cafe in the Indiana Government Center. You will support cafeteria stations and grab-n-go meal prep, including producing and labeling items with attention to quality and safety. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm; weekends and holidays are closed.

Starting pay up to $16.00 per hour. Weekly pay, paid training, employee discounts, and benefits are offered with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards.
• Sets up station according to cafe guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications as set by the café.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
• Cleans and maintains station with safety and sanitation practices.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and safe handling procedures.
• Ensures quality and safety of food through sanitation measures.
• Works at an efficient and consistent pace.
• Understands methods and procedures for serving food and sanitation.
• Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shows flexibility and ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Exhibits attention to detail and strong time management.
• Handles changes well and assists with other tasks as needed.
• Previous high-volume kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Full-time & Part-time prep cook positions are now being filled at our IGC Cafe located in the Indiana Government Center. Shifts available Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (shifts vary).

The prep cook is responsible for providing support to cafeteria stations and grab n go for preparation of meals and ingredients. Assembling produce, cooking/heating of product, chopping, dicing, packing and labeling of produces both front of house & back of house. The prep cook is responsible for quality control, food safety and sanitation. Starting rate up to $16.00 an hour! • Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
