Job summary

The Prep Cook position at CC Holdings Restaurant Management Group is based at the Indianapolis Airport, where you will prepare meals and ingredients for cafeteria stations and grab-n-go, ensuring quality and food safety across front- and back-of-house operations.

Shifts include early mornings and weekends, with a pay range of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Weekly pay, paid training, employee discounts, benefits and a 401K option are offered.

Qualifications

• Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to grooming standards.
• Prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows portion control and presentation specifications.
• Restocks all items as needed throughout shift.
• Cleans and maintains station with safety, sanitation, and organization.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in kitchen.

Responsibilities

Schedule & Location Details

This position is located at the Indianapolis International Airport and operates:

• Monday through Sunday
• Nights and weekends required
• 5:00 AM – 11:00 PM (shifts vary)

Target Start Date

The anticipated start date for this position can range from late September through December, depending on hiring and onboarding timelines.

Description

The prep cook is responsible for providing support to cafeteria stations and grab n go for preparation of meals and ingredients. Assembling produce, cooking/heating of product, chopping, dicing, packing and labelling of produces both front of house & back of house. The prep cook is responsible for quality control, food safety and sanitation. Pay range is between $15.00 to $16.00 an hour! Requirements

• Ensure quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures.
• Work at efficient and consistent pace.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
