Warehouse BBQ LLC is seeking a prep cook for our Scratch BBQ Kitchen in Wake Forest. You will trim briskets, cut ribs, prep wings, pull pork and chicken, and help with turkey BBQ while maintaining a clean, safe station. The role supports catering prep and teamwork during rushes.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in a kitchen (prep/line/butcher), strong knife skills, and reliable attendance. Food safety certification is a plus and training is provided by seasoned owners.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of kitchen experience (prep, line, or butcher).
• Comfortable handling raw meat safely and efficiently.
• Solid knife skills and consistency. Every brisket gets trimmed the same way.

Responsabilités

• Trim briskets and cut and peel ribs for the smoker.
• Clean and prep chicken wings.
• Pull pork and chicken, and chop turkey for our turkey BBQ.
• Keep your station clean, labeled, and up to food safety standards.
• Help with catering prep for larger orders.
• Pitch in where the team needs you, including dishes and packing orders during rushes. We all do.
