Job summary

ACGBBQ, LLC., a Sonny’s BBQ licensed franchisee, is seeking BOH Team Members to support a high-volume kitchen with a focus on safety and quality. You will follow prep lists, prepare items per recipes, manage portions, and learn Sonny’s specialized terminology.

Qualifications

• Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry and move up to 90 pounds.
• Exposure to wet/humid conditions and cleaning chemicals; hands must be washed frequently.

Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list.
• Prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines, recipes, prep & portion procedures.
• Use weight scales for accurate portions.
• Learn and apply Sonny’s BOH terminology, plating, items, procedures, and tools.
• Navigate around equipment safely.
• Maintain portion and waste control per standards.
• Store and label food per safety policies.
• Follow proper cooling, labeling, and rotating procedures of all prepped items.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Restock as needed and assist with additional duties as assigned.
