• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time PREP COOK positions.
• Location: Mayo Clinic - 500 West Grant Street, Lake City, MN 55041. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time; days may vary, with rotating weekends and holidays. Hours between 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior kitchen and patient experience preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Obtains daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items following recipes and quantities.
• Completes and reviews production worksheets and waste logs. Tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per procedures.
• Stores, labels, and dates food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
• Completes required documentation and reports.
• Adheres to health and sanitation regulations.
• Takes customer orders and prepares items with short prep time.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously.
• Uses approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns and performs other duties as assigned.
