• We are hiring immediately for full time PREP COOK positions.
• Location: Mayo Clinic - 701 Hewitt Boulevard, Red Wing, MN 55066. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Days may vary, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, and 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior cooking and patient service experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $19.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain daily production schedules and requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
• Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per procedures.
• Store, label, and date all food items following policies and HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Follow health and sanitation regulations.
• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short prep times.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
