Job Opening: Prep Cook

• We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Prep Cook positions.
• Location: Bio Merieux Hazelwood - 595 Anglum Road, Hazelwood, MO 63042. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 2:00 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirements: Previous cook experience utilizing recipes is preferred but not required.
  *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Pay Range: $14.00 to $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food and serve customers according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs; taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items per policy; follow HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
7. Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-prep items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and friendly.
10. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and proper portioning.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
