We are hiring immediately for a full-time Prep Cook position.

Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital - 6019 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38120. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Open availability preferred. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Three years of prior prep cook experience required.

Pay Range: $15.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following established recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
