Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking experienced Prep Cooks for morning and evening shifts. You will prepare sauces, meats, and components from scratch to support our Mexican dishes with top quality ingredients.

The prep room is the kitchen's heartbeat, demanding accuracy, organization, and teamwork to deliver consistent, high-quality results every shift. This role requires adherence to portions, timing, and safety standards.

Formación

• Professional in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Previous prep kitchen experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare sauces, ground beef, shredded beef, line chicken, cheese sauce, sour cream sauce, chili con carne, green sauce, ranchera, pork verde, spinach, rice, and beans.
• Grill fajita meat, prep ground beef, shredded beef, line chicken, and prepare fried items such as chips and shells.
• Maintain accuracy in guacamole, pico, cheese, tortillas, and marinated fajita meat; prep tortilla balls.
• Follow standard recipe portions, systems, and maintain cross-shift continuity.
• Work with staff and management; operate knives, VCM, Hobart; sanitize and care for equipment.
