Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Boise is seeking a Prep Cook to set up the prepared foods department each day, slicing vegetables, making salads and cold items, and preparing meat. You will keep your area clean and organized while assisting with inventory and ordering to keep the kitchen stocked.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Previous experience providing great customer service.
• Cooking and food prep experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and slice vegetables, salads and cold items.
• Cut and grind meat as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and neat work area at all times.
• Take inventory and place orders for department supplies.
• Support merchandising and marketing efforts in and around the department.
• Provide fast and friendly customer service to shoppers.
