Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a hands-on Prep Cook to help maintain a steady flow of production in the kitchen. You’ll chop, slice, measure, and assemble ingredients so meals are prepared on time for service.

You’ll keep work areas clean, restock supplies, and follow recipes and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment, while assisting customers with product questions when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior food preparation or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and written/verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices required.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely after training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, measuring and assembling for cooking and service.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and restock supplies.
