Job summary

El Pollo Loco is seeking a team member for our kitchen, where you will prepare side dishes to accompany our grilled chicken and help keep the kitchen clean and organized. Prior cooking experience is not required but preferred, and reading recipes in English or Spanish is necessary to follow standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, people-centered environment that values growth and teamwork, with full-time or part-time opportunities and potential training to advance within the BOH.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read company recipes cards in either English or Spanish.
• Must have a basic understanding of how to follow a recipe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all the delicious side dishes that accompany our chicken, assist in maintaining the kitchen clean and organized.
• Follows company food handling and safety procedures.
• Receives chicken orders, cooks and packages chicken that meets quality standards.
• Cleans and sanitizes the workstation and tools.
• Assists in training new associates.
