Global Partners LP in Milford, CT is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare, cook, and plate high-quality dishes while following recipes and food safety standards. You’ll label, date, and rotate items and assist with grab-and-go and made-to-order offerings in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of kitchen or culinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items following recipes, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Ensure all food items are properly labeled, dated, and rotated according to food safety standards.
• Support daily production of grab-and-go items, specials, and made-to-order dishes.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, and sanitation procedures consistently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation; report issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively during service and prep.
• Support training of new kitchen staff and maintain a positive professional attitude.
• Ensure plates meet Alltown Fresh standards for taste, freshness, and presentation.
