Egg Harbor in Naperville is seeking a Prep Cook to support our Culinary Back-of-House team. Shifts start early with no late-night work, and scheduling is flexible, especially on weekends and holidays.

You will prep ingredients, label and stock food, and assist with basic cooking duties while maintaining a clean, sanitized workstation. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to grow within the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience is a plus, with training provided for all stations.
• Prep cook duties include organizing and labeling food items in storage and coolers, and sanitizing workstation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for entrees and sauces, including washing and chopping produce, slicing meat, and measuring seasonings.
• Label and stock all food items in their proper place and ensure easy access.
• Perform prep list tasks, basic cooking duties, and assist in assembling simple dishes.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and sanitize surfaces at end of day.
• Comply with food sanitation guidelines and safety rules.
