Job summary

Egg Harbor is seeking a Prep Cook to support the Culinary Core team and ensure a smooth back-of-house operation. This role focuses on food preparation, labeling, and stocking while maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation.

Shifts start early, with flexible scheduling on weekends and holidays, and the restaurant closes early on weekdays. Nocturnal shifts are not required; extensive training is provided to cover stations as needed, contributing to an efficient kitchen and a positive guest

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience is a plus, extensive training on stations available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for entrees and sauces, including washing and chopping produce.
• Label and stock all food items in their proper place and ensure accessibility.
• Perform prep tasks, basic cooking duties, and assist in assembling simple dishes.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen; sanitize surfaces at day end.
• Comply with food sanitation guidelines and safety rules.
