Perkins Restaurant & Bakery in Ohio is seeking a Prep Cook to support kitchen operations and ensure every dish meets our standards. You’ll prepare ingredients, maintain an organized prep area, and work closely with line cooks to keep service running smoothly.

No experience is required, though prep cook experience is a plus. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting, can lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move throughout shifts, and takes pride in cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• No experience is required. Prior prep cook experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and company specifications, including chopping, portioning, mixing, and stocking items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked prep area throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Support Line Cooks and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Properly label, store, and rotate food items according to company standards.
• Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and restocking tasks as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
