Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Proficient with kitchen tools, equipment, and culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and food safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list with speed and accuracy.
• Read and follow recipes with precise measurements.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills (chopping, dicing, slicing).
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying, grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items including sauces, dressings, soups.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills, tilt skillets, mixers, slicers.
• Label, date, rotate food using FIFO.
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Follow food safety and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
• Support teamwork through clear, effective communication.
• Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
