Job summary

Guest Services is seeking a Prep Cook to assist the Cook by preparing ingredients, keeping the kitchen clean, and performing simple cooking tasks as directed by the menu. You will prepare and cook food per recipes, monitor temperatures, and help maintain presentation and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen.

The role requires strong customer service, sanitation habits, and communication with management as issues arise. On-site work in a dynamic environment with varied shifts and menu assignments.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certification is required or preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits are expected.
• Strong customer service abilities; assists customers and coworkers.
• Able to recognize problems and communicate them to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus and supervisor's instructions.
• Take temperatures at regular intervals and maintain sufficient quantities while minimizing waste.
• Ensure proper presentation of all food items.
• Assist in maintaining kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule.
• Loading and unloading of inventory from trucks.
