Job summary

All Team Staffing is seeking a Prep Cook in Aurora, IL. The ideal candidate has proven prep cook experience and will follow chef plans, prepare ingredients, and assist during service. Weekly pay, stable hours, and options for full- or part-time employment are offered.

You will measure ingredients, prep vegetables and meats, package take-away orders, ensure sanitation, and keep stock organized. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as prep cook.
• Knowledge of cuts, temperatures, and health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Dexterity to operate cutting tools and utensils.
• Calm, positive under pressure and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Follow the prep list created by chefs and perform duties as assigned.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
• Prepare vegetables and meats, basic cooking tasks (reducing sauces, etc.).
• Package take-away food for clients.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food temperatures.
