Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring immediately for a Prep Cook at our Chicago location (525 West Monroe Street, 60661). This role is full- or part-time with Monday–Friday shifts; hours vary and online applications are accepted. Candidates need 1–2 years in a commercial kitchen or restaurant.

• One to two years of experience in a commercial kitchen or restaurant.
• Ability to follow established recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work flexible full- or part-time shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste logs; tastes completed meals for quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP guidelines.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short preparation times.
