Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary school training would be advantageous.
• Experience as a prep cook is advantageous.
• Manual dexterity to operate cooking tools.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physical endurance for long shifts.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.
• Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and sanitize workstations.
• Follow prep lists created by chefs.
• Measure ingredients and prepare stock for cooking.
• Prepare simple dishes such as entrees or salads.
• Ensure all food items are stored properly and accessible.
• Assist chefs with food preparation and other culinary tasks.
• Distribute plates to wait staff and prepare takeaway packages.
• Monitor cooling room temperatures.
• Accept or reject ingredients from suppliers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen.
• Prepare drinks and cocktails as directed.
