Job summary

Hai Hospitality is seeking Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team across Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba and Loro concepts in Austin, TX. You will help ensure a seamless dinner service, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and respond quickly to guest needs in a fast-paced environment.

We offer competitive pay of $16–$18 per hour plus benefits, with opportunities for growth within the group and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, and goods up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Able to work in hot and cold temperatures.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace and proper uniform.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dinner service and kitchen prep.
• Stock inventory and restock as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, grills, knives).
• Support leadership and coworkers with directives.
