Job summary

Hai Hospitality, a multi-concept restaurant group including Uchi, Uchiko, and Uchiba, is seeking Prep Cooks to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

You will support dinner service by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teammates to deliver excellent dining experiences. We offer growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties.
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as ovens, grills, and knives.

Responsibilities

• Support dinner service by preparing ingredients and staying organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work space and follow hygiene standards.
• Assist with restocking and inventory as needed to ensure smooth service.
