Job summary

The Granite Grill in Richmond, VA is hiring part-time and full-time prep cooks to join our team. We are seeking dedicated culinary professionals who are passionate about food preparation and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen.

Prep cooks will receive training on kitchen procedures, ingredient specifications, and company standards to ensure we consistently deliver exceptional dishes to guests. The role emphasizes organization, accuracy in following recipes, and teamwork to keep the prep station

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepping ingredients for all menu items.
Following recipes and standards to ensure consistency in every dish.
Organizing and maintaining the prep area to ensure efficiency and cleanliness.
Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Ensuring all food safety and cleanliness guidelines are followed to the highest standards.
Maintaining a steady pace to ensure all prep is completed prior to service.
