Job summary

The Cottonwood Country Club is seeking a dependable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will follow recipes, prepare ingredients based on business volume, and assist line cooks during service to keep our kitchen running smoothly.

This full-time position rewards teamwork, attention to food safety, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment. We offer PTO, health insurance, sick pay, holiday pay, and a Roth IRA with a 3% match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable.

• Able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
• Adjust prep levels based on business volume to avoid over-prepping or under-prepping
• Practice proper waste management and food handling procedures
• Assist line cooks as needed during service
• Receive and properly put away food and supply orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep area
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
