Job summary

SSA Group is seeking a Prep Cook to support kitchen operations across our cultural partner venues. You will prep ingredients, clean as you go, and assist with stock and storage while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates bring kitchen experience, a health and safety mindset, and a collaborative spirit, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen is required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of ingredients including washing, chopping, seasoning, and marinating.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies.
• Assist in inventory management and storage of supplies.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
