PopStroke is seeking a prep cook in Katy, TX to assist with ingredient preparation, follow recipes, and support high-volume kitchen operations. You will help manage portions, organize ingredients, and maintain sanitation and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

The role requires weekend and holiday availability, good communication, and teamwork to keep prep running smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous prep cook experience in a high-volume environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Weekend/holiday availability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparation of ingredients according to recipes and portion guidelines.
• Follow established portion control procedures to minimize food waste.
• Organize and stock ingredients and supplies for smooth workflow during meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas following food safety regulations.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and labeling prep items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and workflow.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with dishwashing duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
