Qualifications

• Experience as prep cook preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Patient with the ability to stay positive under pressure.
• Very good physical condition and endurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for cooking and serving.
• Be present in the kitchen and communicate with others.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings for cooking.
• Ensure ingredients are stored at proper temperatures.
• Ensure availability and quality of ingredients at all times.
• Clean work equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas.
• Prepare food according to supervisor instructions.
• Pack prepared foods to fit customer needs.
• Prepare for cooking by washing, cutting, peeling, and chopping required foods.
