Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred; we’re willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic knife skills and the ability to follow recipes and prep lists accurately.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and FIFO procedures, or willingness to learn.
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Washington State Food Worker Card required, or must be obtained within 14 days of beginning work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to daily prep lists, recipes, and portion standards.
• Use knives and kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Label, date, store, and rotate prepped items following FIFO.
• Monitor and record food temperatures and storage conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized prep area in line with health regulations and policies.
• Receive, check, and store deliveries promptly.
• Restock stations and walk-ins for service.
