Job summary

King's Fish House in Corona, CA is seeking a Prep Cook to support the kitchen team, ensure recipe adherence, and maintain quality and sanitation. You will work closely with opening managers to set up each shift for success and be cross trained in all recipes.

You will be trained on our kitchen standards and contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Great training, growth opportunities, and a strong dining culture await.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• 1 year experience in a prep cook/support role.
• High school graduate.
• Food handlers Card.
• Able to communicate effectively in English with guests and staff.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation basics.
• Understand prep sheets and standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare necessary food items for meal period and next service.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station.
• Prep food for scheduled meal period.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions.
• Alert Chef or Sous Chef to any deficiencies.
• Notify management of shift activities.
