Brentwood, a Vandelay Companies concept in Dallas, is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team with prep, recipe adherence, and station setup for high-volume service.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with cooks and managers to deliver consistent quality. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in culinary/hospitality, strong knife skills, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of culinary or hospitality experience in a full-service, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills and experience working on both hot and cold prep.
• Energetic, accountable, and team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Culinary Manager, Assistant Culinary Manager, and kitchen team with daily tasks to ensure service readiness.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes, portioning guidelines, and quality standards.
• Execute prep tasks with accuracy, consistency, and urgency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times, following safety protocols.
• Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO.
