Hudson House Addison is seeking a Prep Cook to support the culinary team and keep our kitchens ready for high-quality service. You will prepare ingredients, portion according to recipes, and help maintain an efficient, clean workspace while adhering to safety standards.

In this role you will work closely with chefs, support daily prep tasks, and contribute to consistent dish quality. We value reliability, attention to detail, and a eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–2 years of culinary or hospitality experience in a full-service, high-volume kitchen.
• Food handler certification as required by state and local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Culinary Manager, Assistant Culinary Manager, and kitchen team with daily tasks to ensure readiness for service.
• Prepare ingredients according to standardized recipes, portioning guidelines, and quality standards.
• Execute prep tasks with accuracy, consistency, and urgency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and follow food safety protocols.
• Label, date, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist in daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen and collaborate with leadership.
