Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Prep Cook to support high-volume kitchen operations at live venues. You will prepare ingredients, assist chefs, and maintain clean prep areas while following safety standards.

The role requires basic culinary knowledge, 1 year of kitchen experience, and a CA Food Handlers Certification. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is needed. Union representation applies where applicable.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Minimum 1 year kitchen or food prep experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients per recipes and production needs.
• Wash, chop, measure, and organize food items for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas, coolers, and storage.
• Assist cooks with bulk production, setup, and plating.
• Label, date, and store items following FIFO and temperature controls.
• Operate kitchen tools safely (knives, mixers, slicers).
• Minimize waste and monitor product quality.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
