Educational Catering in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dependable Prep Cook to join our college café team. You will prepare fresh ingredients for breakfast and lunch, assemble sandwiches, salads, and grab-and-go items in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow recipes, portion control, and FIFO, label and store products, and help with deliveries and station organization while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Competenze

• Food prep experience preferred.
• Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Able to safely use kitchen knives.
• Capable of standing for long hours and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Mansioni

• Prepare food items for daily breakfast and lunch service.
• Wash, cut, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, and ingredients.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and grab-and-go items.
• Follow recipes and portion control to maintain quality and cost.
• Label, date, and store all food products.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Stock and organize prep stations, coolers, and storage areas.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area.
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff during busy meal periods.
• Help receive and put away food deliveries.
• Follow all company policies and health department regulations.
