Job description

Job Title: Prep Cook / Dishwasher

The Prep Cook / Dishwasher assists the Head Chef in the preparation and serving of food, as well as related cleanup activities for patients and staff in an inpatient hospice setting and for our Meals on Wheels subscribers. A suitable candidate should understand good nutrition in food preparation and service, and maintain good public relations with residents, families, and staff.

Schedule: Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Shifts are from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Requirements

• Experience in the food service field
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Current ServSafe certification
• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption
• Proof of Influenza (Flu) vaccination or an approved exemption
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions, including lifting over 25 pounds and working in a kitchen environment with varying conditions
